ALT1 Games USA, the developers of the popular Twelve Sky and Twelve Sky 2 games have just announced that their latest project, Troy Online has recently entered Beta Testing. Troy Online’s second closed beta test will begin on July 15th, 2011, at 10 AM PDT (UTC -7) and will last for four days. Troy Online is set in a world based on Greek myth with recreated mythical characters such as Menelaus, Achilles, and Cassandra. All the action takes place on the great Autis continent, where the Trojan and Greek warriors have been revived to fight anew. Apollo and Poseidon have resurrected the armies to fight in their names and there are also conflicts between Zeus and Hades, who have their own design for the war and the mortals involved.

What can you expect when you join the Troy Online Beta Test:
ALT1 Games USA will be testing game controls, latency, localization, gameplay as well as the ALT1 Coin system. Available features in the game will include equipment modifications such as level and power upgrades, socketable items, and armor combinations. A host of PVP battlefields will also be available, separated by objective and level. Troy will also allow for parties, including an instant dungeon group feature and guilds with different authority levels. Also, a second tier of classes will be available for players who reach the required level. During the second closed beta test, Troy will have open general, PVP, class, bug, and support forums to promote community discussions. Troy mods will be active throughout the test both in game and on the forums, looking to respond to user comments and suggestions.
How long does the Troy Online Beta Test last:
ALT 1 Games USA will end the closed beta test on July 18th at midnight PDT. The Troy team will take some time to discuss user comments before opening Troy again for their open beta test.
